- Official UK PlayStation Magazine - Croc. Official UK PlayStation Magazine's Demo Disc 8 Volume 2 featured a playable demo of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. The gameplay suggests that this demo was taken from a final or near final copy of the game.

- One such series is Croc. The latest installment, Croc 2, follows up on the original. While a valiant attempt, Croc 2 falls short in way too many areas to become success in the highly-competitive genre that it is a part of. Croc 2 is mainly a child's game.
- Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is a fairly typical platform game in terms of gameplay. But what makes this game shine is the total 3D environment and awesome graphics. As far as the gameplay goes, you will guide Croc through level after level of gathering crystals, smashing boxes, climbing walls, jumping across moving platforms, and kicking some enemy butts.
Croc's back in an exciting new adventure as he searches for his long lost parents. But the search soon becomes a showdown as Croc's archenemy, Baron Dante, is.

Demo disc 48 from the Official UK PlayStation Magazine contained several demos, Croc 2 being one of them. The playable level is mostly the same as the final, save for a few minor differences. The demo was also included in some other demo discs, though the content remained unchanged.
The demo's date is listed internally as May 25, 1999 14:17:44. The final game is listed as July 1, 1999 14:31:00 (US). It is internally known as 'DEMOPAL'.
